EXPERIENCE

• Prior to being an attorney, I was a chemist in the Chicago Police Department Crime Laboratory and subsequently in the DuPage County Crime Laboratory. I analyzed controlled substances and served as an expert witness in trials.
• Experience as a prosecutor in DuPage county from 1992 through 1999 first as a student in law school then as a traffic, misdemeanor and felony assistant.
• Practicing criminal defense from 1999 through the present, first as a partner in the firm Cody, Mitacek & Rohde and currently in my own practice.
